The Moose Jaw and Regina Casino’s are promoting responsible gaming habits to coincide with Gambling Awareness Week running May 7–11.
During the week the casinos will host a series of information sessions where guests will learn about key gaming concepts such as randomness and the house advantage, offer tips on budgeting playing time and money.
“We have information pamphlets and booklets with activities in the main lobby on informing guests on responsible gaming, and the Canadian Mental Health Association also have a booth here to provide information,” offered customer service representative Kara Reed of Moose Jaw Casino.
Manager of responsible gaming, Laurie Norman was able to give the Times-Herald a demonstration of a gambling habits video service offered for casino guests.
