Police had 18 calls for service in the 24-hour period between Wednesday, May 9, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 7:00 a.m. Thursday. Among the calls were the following: A report of an unleashed dog on the 400 block of Stadacona Street West was investigated.   

• A hit and run was reported at 10:29 a.m. causing $500 in damages on the 500 block of Main Street North.

• Two dogs attacked another dog in an alley on the 300 block of Stadacona Street West. One person was spoken to regarding the city dog bylaw.

• One warrant was issued for a breach of court conditions.
