Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 56 calls between 7 a.m. on Thursday and 7 a.m. on Friday, including a motor vehicle collision at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday on the 900 block of Simcoe Street, which resulted in $40,000 damages and one charge for driving without due care and attention.

At 8:41 a.m. on Thursday on the zero block of Woodlily Drive, police had an unregistered vehicle towed.

A theft on the zero block of Woodlily Drive reported at 9:08 a.m. on Thursday, resulting in theft of $1,200 in tools from a vehicle, is being investigated.

Police assisted in locating a child at about 11:48 p.m. on Thursday on the 600 block of Caribou Street West, returning the child to family.

On Thursday at 12:25 p.m. on the zero block of Woodlily Drive, police responded to a report of theft from a vehicle, in which $1,400 in property was taken.

On the 100 block of Fairford Street West at 1:44 p.m. on Thursday, police warned a female for dangerous driving.

At 2:12 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of mischief in which $6,000 damages was committed to a vehicle on the 200 block of Stadacona Street West.

At 2:46 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a vehicular collision on the 800 block of Lillooet Street West, which resulted in $10,000 damages, no injuries, two vehicles being towed, as well as one charge of driving without due care and attention.

At 3:11 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of $20 being taken from a vehicle on the 400 block of Woodlily Drive. The matter is still under investigation.

Police responded to a report of assault on the 100 block of Ross Street East at 3:55 p.m. on Thursday. Police spoke with parents of both parties.

At 5:43 p.m. on Thursday in the 300 block of Fairford Street West, police received a report of erratic driving, which is still under investigation.

At 10:12 p.m. on Thursday in the 1200 block of Redland Avenue, police responded to a hit-and-run report resulting in $1,000 damages. The matter is still under investigation.

At 12:04 a.m. on Friday in the 500 block of Fairford Street West, police charged a male with drug possession.

At 12:12 a.m. on the 500 block of Oxford Street West, police charged a male with impaired driving.

Three men were charged with break and enter following a break in report on the 100 block of Lillooet Street East at 1:17 a.m. on Friday.

At 5:37 a.m. on Friday, a man was charged with obstructing a peace officer on the 200 block of Coteau Street West.
