Police Calls

Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 44 calls for service between 7 a.m. on Sunday and 7 a.m. on Monday, including a noise complaint on the 900 block of Edmonton Street where male received a warning around 8 a.m.

At approximately 8:59 a.m. police were on the 1600 block of Stadacona Street West where a 2003 Westwind Travel Trailer was stolen with a Saskatchewan license plate reading 534 EJZ. The case is still under investigation.

At around 9:09 a.m. police investigated on the 1000 block of 8th Avenue Northwest where 3 vehicles had been rummaged through. A key was stolen and the matter is still being investigated.

At 1:07 p.m. police responded to a hit and run on the 300 block of Thatcher Drive East. The matter is also still under investigation.

At 1:52 p.m. police attended a single-vehicle accident on Coteau Street West and 2nd Avenue Southwest. No injuries were reported but the matter is still under investigation.

At 2:51 p.m. police were at 9th Avenue Southwest where another single vehicle accident caused around $10,000 in damage. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating.

At around 3:13 p.m. police responded to the 0 block of Thatcher Drive East for a hit and run that caused about $3,000 in damage. Police continue to investigate.

At 3:32 p.m. police responded to reports of mischief on the 1000 block of Iroquois Street West. The matter is also still under investigation.

At around 3:43 p.m. police responded to another hit and run on the 1200 block of 4th Avenue Northwest. About $2,000 in damage was incurred. Police are still investigating.

At 8:14, police arrested an intoxicated person on the 1100 block of 9th Avenue Northwest and held that person until they were sober.

At 8:39 p.m. police responded to reports of mischief on the 1000 block of Willow Avenue where a tire had been damaged causing roughly $100 in damage. The matter is still under investigation.

At 9:25 p.m. police responded to a report of theft under $5,000 on the 800 block of 5th Avenue Northwest.

And at 1:18 a.m. police were on the 800 block of Connaught Avenue where they issued a ticket to a male for mischief after he was found to have tampered with a motor vehicle.

 

Fire Calls

Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at 2:58 p.m. Sunday on the corner of 9th Avenue West and Warner Street.
