A single vehicle accident sent one motorcyclist to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene on the 1200 block of 9th Avenue Southwest where the driver had lost control and skidded on the pavement.

The driver received minor injuries to both his arms and his shoulder, but remained conscious thanks to the helmet he was wearing. He was transported to the Moose Jaw Union Hospital where he remained over night.
