Fire reports from 7 a.m. June 30th to 7a.m. July 1st

Moose Jaw Fire Department was at the 400 block of 5th Avenue Northeeast at around 8:28 a.m. for a mistaken alarm.

At 9:13 a.m. engines responded to the 1100 block of Lillooet Street West to extinguish a brush fire

 

Police responded to 98 calls to service between the hours of 7 a.m. June 30th and 12 p.m. July 1st including a domestic dispute on the 1100 block of 1st Avenue Northeast at around 7:56 a.m. Police mediated the situation.

At 11:36 a.m. on the 400 block of Fairford Street, police assisted the Union hospital in locating and returning a missing patient.

At 12:31 p.m. on the 900 block of Simcoe Street, police mediated an argument between neighbours.

At 1:42 p.m. on the 200 block of Lillooet Street, police responded to a case of willful damage where a window had been smashed causing $300 in damage. The matter is still under investigation.

At 1:46 p.m. on the 1200 block of Gordon Road police responded to complaints of harassment. The matter is still under investigation.

At 3:31 p.m. on the 300 block of 9th Avenue Southwest, police responded to complaints of an impaired driver. However, the vehicle was gone upon their arrival.

At 7:29 p.m. on the 500 block of Athabasca Street, police pulled over a reported impaired driver. He was found to be sober, but was arrested on five other warrants.

10:37 p.m. police mediated a domestic dispute on the 1000 block of Main Street North.

At 10:40 p.m. police responded to a vehicle theft on the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue northwest where an iPod had been stole. The matter is still under investigation.

At 11:23 p.m. police responded to a complaint of drunk individuals. One male was taken to the hospital and then put in jail until sober.

12:01 a.m. police responded to reports of a stolen backpack on the 100 block of Athabasca Street East. The matter is still under investigation.

At 12:49 a.m. on the 1000 block of Main Street North, police mediated a flare up of a previous domestic dispute.

At 1:30 a.m. on the 0 block of Fairford Street, police responded to reports of drunk individuals kicking over mailboxes. No damage was incurred.

At 1:47 a.m. police responded to a physical domestic dispute. The situation was mediated.

At 3:23 a.m. police returned a drunk female home after she passed on the 1000 block of Main Street North.

At 3:28 a.m. police were on the 300 block of 4th Avenue Southwest investigating the theft of a motorized bicycle. The matter is still under investigation.

At 6:07 a.m. police responded to a noise complaint as a result of a party on the 800 block of Keith Avenue.

At 9:17 a.m. on July 1st, police mediated a domestic dispute on the 400 block of Hochelega Street.

At 9:32 a.m. police responded to reports of a vehicle theft on the 300 block of Fairford Street West where a1997 4-door Plymouth Neon had been taken with the license plate 138 HUE. Police are still investigating.

At 10:16 a.m. on the 1100 block of Athabasca Street East, police responded to another vehicle theft where a 2003 Ford Aerostar had been stolen with the licence plate 186 DXE. The matter is still under investigation.

At 11:38 a.m. police seized an abandoned vehicle on the 1300 block of 7th Avenue Southwest which resulted in one male being charged with driving without due care and attention and for failure to report an accident.

Police also responded to numerous calls regarding fireworks throughout the evening.
