Fire Calls

Between the hours of 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 7th, and7 a.m. on Sunday July, 8th, the Moose Jaw responded to a false alarm at 9:44 a.m. on the 100 block of Fairford Street East.

At 12:20 p.m. engines responded to the 140 block of Grace Street to investigate reports of hazardous materials.

Later, at 3:17 p.m. crews were sent to the corner of 9th Avenue and Athabasca Street West for a motor vehicle accident.

And finally, at 3:58 p.m. members extinguished a grass fire approximately three kilometers east of Moose Jaw.

 

Police Calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 29 calls between the hours of 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 7th, and 7 a.m. on Sunday, July 8th including to the 100 block of Warner Street at 9:21 p.m. where a Nintendo DS valued at $300 had been stolen. At this time, police have no suspects.

At 12:08 a.m. police were on the 0 block of Carrington Drive where an adult male was charged with assault, mischief and a breach.

At 1:28 a.m. police responded to the 600 block of Keith Street where they charged an adult male with resisting arrest and failing to stop for police. He was released but will be appearing in court at a later date.

At 4:45 a.m. an adult female was charged with impaired driving on the corner of 4th Avenue and Stadacona Street West.
