For Carmen Wrolson, camping in the River Park Campground doesn’t feel like it’s in the middle of the city.
“I like it. I think it’s nice to be able to run into the store. (Monday) night in the big rainstorm we ordered pizza,” said Wrolson. “I like being close to the city. It doesn’t feel like it, but it’s just really nice.”
Wrolson and her husband Brian came from Coronach to go to Craven. From there, they decided to meet up with Wrolson’s sister-in-law Cathy Hiltz and her husband Guy, also from Coronach.
“We just thought we’d meet for a couple days, someplace close,” said Wrolson. “So we came to Moose Jaw.”
“And it’s a nice park here,” added Hiltz, who said they came on Sunday. “The sites are nice and big and easy to get around in. The facilities, the showers are great.”
