At 11:37 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, Moose Jaw Fire Department, Moose Jaw EMS and Moose Jaw RCMP responded to a semi truck hauling bales that turned on its side on Highway 39, just south of the Trans Canada Highway. According to RCMP, the driver (from Texas) took the off ramp with too much speed and the vehicle tipped on its side. The driver was charged with driving at a speed greater than reasonable and safe. According to the fire department, there were no injuries in the incident, and the highway was cleared at about three hours, when two tow trucks hauled the truck away. The bales remained in the ditch awaiting removal at a later time.
At 11:37 a.m. on Friday, Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to a semi truck rollover on Highway 39, just of the southbound ramp of the Trans Canada Highway. There were no injuries.
At 7:51 a.m. on Friday, fore crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 363 and 16th Avenue.
Firefighters responded to a medical assistance call at 5:06 p.m. on Friday.
