Glenn Haug with the growing pile of donations.

The tower of school supplies is continuously growing here at the Times-Herald for the annual School Supply Drive. It’s almost time to start sorting through the supplies to distribute them, so remember not to wait until the last minute to donate.

From pens to backpacks to cash, every item is greatly appreciated.

Advertising director Glenn Haug said the drive is going well so far, but there is still time to collect even more.

“Don’t stop thinking about those less fortunate in the community — help them to have a positive school experience,” he said.

The school supplies will be given to both the Holy Trinity Catholic Separate School Division and the Prairie South School Division to be distributed to those students whose families might struggle to purchase the variety of supplies needed for the classroom.
