Mortlach

Moose Jaw RCMP are investigating a fatal single-vehicle rollover that occurred on Wednesday around 11:15 a.m. near Mortlach. A 62-year-old male who was the lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle was travelling north on the main road leaving Mortlach. Witnesses say the vehicle suddenly left the road, moving across an open field until it struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof. Alcohol and the road are not believed to be contributing factors. The name of the deceased will not be released at the request of the family.
