The annual Toy Run is an opportunity for motorbike enthusiasts to get together and roar through the Friendly City in droves, while simultaneously providing Christmas gifts for local children in need.

It’s also an opportunity for Moose Javians to line up along Main Street North to see and hear the spectacle of the multitude of toy-covered bikes.

Moose Jaw Cycle Association president Murray Roney, who co-organizes the annual fundraising event, said the show begins at 2 p.m. in Sept. 15.

“All motorbikes are welcome,” he said, adding his association holds the event each year, so as to collect toys for the local Salvation Army to put in its Christmas hampers.
