The Conexus Credit Union Agriculture and Commercial Business Centre held an open house on Friday.

The open house was for clients and the community to see the new space on the second floor of the credit union at 205 First Ave. N.W. The centre was formerly located in the lower floor of the building. The previous renters of the second floor built a new building.

“We chose the opportunity to remodel and expand and move our ag/commercial business centre to the second floor,” said regional manager Dale Renz. “The staff (is) excited. They have windows now and some daylight and it’s a fresh, open environment and we really built it to better serve our members.”

He said while the centre moved on Sept. 5, the open house wasn’t held until four weeks in to get some final painting and touch-ups completed. He added that the premises are more inviting and quite a few visitors came in to see the new centre since it opened.

“Our goal is to continue to expand our commercial business in Moose Jaw,” said Renz. “There’s lots of good things going on in Moose Jaw, lots of building and we want to be a big part of that.”
