Fire calls

• Moose Jaw Fire Department responded on Saturday to a garbage fire on the 1100 block of Henleaze Avenue.

• Engines responded on Sunday to a hazmat call on the Zero block of High Street West.

Police calls

Moose Jaw Police Service received 47 calls between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

• Police are investigating a reported theft of gas on North Service Road.

 

• Overhead light lenses were broken on 1200 Main Street North.

 

• A person is in custody on weapons related charges for carrying a pellet gun on the Zero block of Iroquois Street East.  

• A three vehicle collision resulted in a charge for impaired driving and $20,000 in damage on the 500 block of Thatcher Drive East.

 

• A person was charged with impaired driving on Ninth Avenue and Coteau Street.

• Police received five hit and run complaints, resulting in minor damage; and false alarms were attended.

Moose Jaw Police Service received 41 calls between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.

 

• An unregistered vehicle was seized on the 1000 block of Willow Avenue.

• A person was arrested for warrants and released for court.

• Police received 12 noise/disturbance calls.

• A person was charged for breach of recognizance and held for court.

• A person was charged with drug possession on the 500 block of Stadacona Street West.

 

• A person was charged with impaired driving on the Zero block of Manitoba Street East.
