Fire calls

  • Early Saturday morning Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to fire alarms ringing on the zero block of Woodlily Drive. Nothing was found.

Police calls

Moose Jaw Police Service received 74 calls between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

  • Police investigated three complaints of theft.
  • Police investigated one complaint of damage.
  • Police responded to three reports or threats.
  • Police responded to three reports of fraud.
  • Police investigated two attempted suicides.
  • Police received five complaints of suspicious people and occurrences.
  • Police responded to four reports of disturbances.
  • Police responded to three domestic disturbances.
  • Police investigated five driving related complaints.
  • Police investigated a hit and run.
  • Police responded to a vehicle collision resulting in minor injuries on Main and Athabasca Street.
  • Police responded to five complaints related to intoxicated persons, four people were detained until sober.
  • Police responded to four accidents related to impaired driving resulting in three people getting charged.
  • Police charged a man with damage to a police car, he was held until sober and is set to appear in court.
  • A young offender was arrested on 15 outstanding warrants.
