Fire calls

  • Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision which resulted in a gas spill on Saturday.
  • Early Sunday Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to a fire on the 800 block of Fifth Avenue North West. The fire had gone out by time of arrival.

Police Calls

Moose Jaw Police Service received 53 calls between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.

  • Police investigated one report of theft.
  • Police responded to three reports of vandalism.
  • Police investigated one complaints of threats uttered.
  • Police investigated one report of fraud.
  • Police responded to seven reports of suspicious persons and occurances.
  • Police responded to four complaints of disturbances.
  • Police investigated three reports of domestic disturbances.
  • Police investigated one complaint related to driving.
  • Police investigated a hit and run.
  • Police investigated a single vehicle rollover on Sixteenth and Ash Street.
  • Police responded to three complaints of assault, one resulting in the arrest of an adult male.
  • Police responded to one complaint of a sexual assault.
  • Police responded to one report of a dangerous dog.
  • Police investigated a complaint regarding child welfare.
  • Police had to called to assist EMS crews with a male subject.
  • Police investigated an incident of Breach of Court order.
  • Police detained two persons in cells until sober.
  • Police investigated a garbage can on fire on the 800 block of Fifth Avenue North West.
