Fire calls

• On Wednesday, engines responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Athabasca Street East and Fourth Avenue North East.

• Engines responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of Main Street North and Ross Street.

Police calls

Moose Jaw Police Service received 50 calls between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.

• A report of fraud involving a letter received to pick up a package that was not ordered and asked to call an out of country phone number was delivered on the 900 block of Duffield Street.

• Police are investigating a report of text threats made on the 500 block of Hochelaga Street West.

• A youth was issued a warning under the Youth Criminal Justice Act for a theft of cash on the 1100 block of Lillooet Street West.

 

• Police are investigating a report of fraud involving funds being moved out of a bank account on the 200 block of Main Street North.

• A domestic dispute was mediated on the 700 block of Atha Street East.

• An unlocked vehicle was reportedly entered with a guitar stolen on the 600 block of Hoch Street West.

• Police are investigating a report of an erratic driver on the 1200 block of Main Street North.

• A person was charged with theft on the 500 block of Thatcher Drive East, and released to attend court at a later date.

• Police are investigating a hit and run on the zero block of a Thatcher Drive East,  parking lot.

• A reported hit and run resulted in $1,300 in damage on the zero block of Fairford Street East.

• An erratic driver was reported to police on Thatcher Drive West at Ninth Avenue Northwest.

• Police assisted EMS with a skateboarder colliding with a vehicle on Ross Street East at Main Street North.

• Police mediated a domestic dispute on the 800 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast.

• An unwanted guest was charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and mischief on the 500 block of Home Street West.

• A suspicious person was reported offering children items from a backpack on  Alder Avenue at Ross Street East.

• An impaired driver was reported on 1600 Main Street North.

• Police received a report of an erratic driver on the 900 block of Main Street North.

• A suspended driver had their vehicle seized on First Avenue Northwest at High Street West.

• A vehicle was reportedly damaged on the 400 block of Hochelega Street West.

• Police are investigating a reported assault on the 500 block of Home Street West.

• A person was arrested for assault and for breach of probation on the zero block of Manitoba Street East.

• Police are investigating possession of stolen property on the 1000 block of Iroquois Street West.

• A reported hit and run resulted in $2,000 in damage on the 500 block of Atha Street East.

• Police issued a 24 hour licence suspension on Caribou Street West at First Avenue  Northwest.

• Four people were arrested for outstanding warrants and two warrants were issued for failing to appear for fingerprints.

• Two people were charged with breach of probation and two people were charged for breach of undertaking.
