Friday night, engines responded to a garage fire on the 900 block of Montgomery St. 

Police calls

Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 56 calls between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, including three complaints of theft, two of threatening, two of domestic disturbance, two of hit and run, two assaults, and one break and enter.

Police attended the scene of a car accident at Main and Hall early afternoon Friday. An estimated $3,000 in damages were done. One person was charged with impaired driving, undue care and attention. 

Police also attended the aforementioned garage fire, which caused an estimated $50,000 in damages.

Police arrested two people wanted on warrants, arrested and charged a man with possession for the purpose of trafficking, charged five people with driving while impaired and issued one 24-hour license suspension, and have two men in custody for sexual assault of a minor.
