Fire calls

Saturday afternoon, engines responded to a malfunctioning alarm on the 200 block of Mulberry Lane and a power pole fire at the intersection of 1st Ave. and Manitoba St. W.

Engines responded to a medical call on the 100 block of Caribou St. W. Saturday evening.

Early Sunday morning, engines responded to a second medical call on the 100 block of High St. W, as well as an accident in the rural municipality of Pense.

Police calls

Moose Jaw Police responded to 47 calls between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, including two complains of theft, two of domestic disturbance, one hit and run and one of threatening. 

Police recovered a stolen vehicle, seized two more vehicles, and issued two 24-hour license suspensions.

Police arrested one person on two outstanding warrants, assisted paramedics with two overdose complaints, and investigated three noise complaints, as well as complaints of downed power lines.
