Fire calls

• On Saturday, engines responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of First Avenue Northwest and Caribou Street.

• On Sunday, engines responded to a malfunctioning alarm system on the 100 block of Lillooet Street West.

RCMP

• RCMP wish to warn the motoring public about deteriorating travel conditions in Southern Saskatchewan. The warming weather and rain is now producing icy conditions. Police are being kept busy responding to vehicles sliding off the road on Highway 11 between Chamberland and Bladworth due to these poor conditions.

RCMP are reminding motorists to call with the Highway Hotline at 1-888-335-7623 or go to the internet @ www.highways.gov.sk.ca to check on current road conditions and closure information.
