Shock rocker to perform in February

Mosaic Place has added another performer to its eclectic mix of upcoming acts with the booking of shock rocker Marilyn Manson.

“It’s Marilyn Manson’s first show in Saskatchewan. He’s never played in the province previously,” said Doug Campbell, director of business development for the facility.

Manson, who has three platinum, three gold, and two number one albums under his belt, will be bringing his unique variety of rock to Mosaic Place on Feb. 5, 2013.

Mosaic’s administration is optimistic that his show will go over well with the Moose Jaw market.

“(Manson) certainly has that shock rock audience,” said Campbell. “And not too long ago, we had the original shock rocker, Alice Cooper — for whom response was good.”

“The original reaction to the concert has been good with rock music fans,” he added.

Tickets will be available on Friday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. They can be bought online at, over the phone at 624-2050, or through the Mosaic Place box office.
