A 25-year-old male driver and the 24-year-old male passenger were killed Tuesday night a collision with a semi.

The RCMP said in a release the collision occurred at 6:45 p.m. on Highway 13, 12 miles east of Weyburn. A westbound semi collided with an eastbound pickup truck. The semi was navigating an S curve in poor weather conditions with heavy snowfall and high winds. The adult male driver and passenger of the semi were not injured in the collision.

An RCMP reconstructionist spent most of the night at the scene to assist in determining how the events unfolded. The investigation is still ongoing.
