Fire calls

Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to five calls Friday and Saturday.

  • Crews responded to a medical call on the 1100 block of Iroquois Street West.
  • There was as motor vehicle collision on the 400 block of Lillooet Street West.
  • There were fire alarms ringing in the 1900 block of Seventh Avenue Southwest that were a false alarm.
  • On Saturday engines responded to the 1000 block of Monk Avenue for a false alarm.

Police Calls

Moose Jaw Police Service received 156 calls between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Sunday.

  • Police investigated thirteen complaint of Theft.
  • Police investigated two complaints of Threatening.
  • Police investigated four complaints of domestic disturbance.
  • Police investigated five Driving complaints.
  • Police investigated seven complaints of hit and run.
  • Police investigated two complaints of Unwanted Guest.
  • Police investigated one complaint of a Stolen Vehicle.
  • Police investigated seven complaints of noisy parties.
  • Police investigated two complaint of impaired driving.
  • Police investigated one complaint of Possession of Stolen Property.
  • Police investigated two complaint of assault.
  • Police investigated two complaints of Fraud.
  • Police investigated three complaints of Possession of Drugs (resulting in two people charged for Possession).
  • Police made four ASD demands (resulting in two 24-hour license suspensions).
  • Police investigated eight complaints of disturbance/fights.
  • Police investigated eight complaints of suspicious occurrence/person.
  • Police investigated and charged eight persons with breach of court orders.
  • Police assisted EMS with two incidents.
  • Police arrested three people on six outstanding warrants.
  • Police seized four vehicles.
  • Police investigated nine complaints of break and enter.
  • Police investigated two complaint of intoxicated person.
  • There was a motor vehicle collision on the 400 block of Lillooet Street West, no injuries, $1000.00 damage, two charges laid
  • On the 1100 block of Athabasca Street West there was a break and enter. One adult male is in custody.
  • Police arrested one person on four outstanding warrants.
  • Police arrested one person on warrants for pointing a firearm.
  • Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway #1 and Ninth Avenue Northwest that resulted in $6000 damage and one person charged with undue care and attention.
