Moose Jaw Police Service

Moose Jaw Police Service received 66 calls for service, between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

• Police are investigating a report of a person being defrauded $8,000.

• Police located stolen property from an earlier break and enter case, with future charges still pending.

• A report of a suspicious vehicle left idling for three hours was investigated on the 700 block  of Main Street North.

• Police assisted another law enforcement agency in obtaining a statement from a Moose Jaw resident for another police agency.

• A person was charged in relation to a vehicle collision on Main Street North at the Trans-Canada Highway.

• A disturbance and arguement was attended to on the 200 block of Stadacona Street West.

• Police are investigating a report of a stolen wallet on the 100 block of First Avenue Northeast.

• A report of harassing calls was attending, where legal options were given towards legal options on the 1300 block of First Avenue Northwest.

• Police investigated a report of an unwanted guest on the 200 block of Main Street North.

• Police are investigating a reported break and enter on the 800 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest.

• A report of mischief involving a hang up to 911 phone call was investigated on the 100 block of Home Street East.

• A person was charged under the Trespass to Property Act for panhandling on the 200 block of First Avenue Northwest.

• Police issued several tickets for poor parking and blocking driveways on the 1300 block of 11th Avenue Northwest.

• Police are investigating towards issuing charges in relation to a person failing to abide to a no contact condition on the 300 block of Ominica Street West.

• A person was charged with theft on the 1200 block of Main Street North.

• Police assisted in locating a missing person on the 900 block of Main Street North.

• A bar check was completed by police on the 1200 block of Main Street North.

• Police are investigating a report of mischief involving a damaged mailbox on the 1600 block of Admiral Crescent.

• A bar check was completed by police on the 500 block of Home Street West.

• A bar check was completed by police on the zero block of Manitoba Street East.

• A person was charged for causing damage to vehicles on the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Southwest.

• Police assisted EMS with transportation of an intoxicated person on the zero block of Manitoba Street East.

• Police mediated a disturbance on the zero block of Maple Street East.

• A report of a suspicious person was investigated on the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Southwest.

• Police found a person sleeping in a local business, attended the scene and sent male on his way.

• Three people were arrested on outstanding warrants and released for a later court date.

• Five warrants were issued for people failing to attend for prints.

• Eight warrants were issued for people failing to attend court.
