Fire calls

• On Thursday, engines were cancelled on route to First Avenue and Oxford Street West.

• Engines responded to vehicle fire on the 1100 block of Coteau Street West.

Police calls

Moose Jaw Police Service received 47 calls for service, between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

• A reported theft of a bike is being investigated on the 200 block of High Street West.

• A report of trailers being broken into is being investigated on the 2000 block  of Caribou Street West.

• Police assisted an elderly person on the 300 block of Ominica Street West.

• Police are investigating a reported hit and run on the 600 block of Saskatchewan Street West.

• A vehicle collision with a power pole happened on the 1300 block of Seventh Avenue Southwest.

• Police are investigating a report of a hit and run on the 1100 block of Grafton Avenue.

• A report of tail lights and covers being stolen is being investigated on the 300 block of Manitoba Street West.

• Police are investigated a report of a hit and run on the 1700 block of Main Street North.

• A hit and run is being investigated on the 500 block of Thatcher Drive East.

• A two vehicle collision resulted in $20,000 in damage on Fourth Avenue Northwest at Thatcher Drive West.

• A vehicle colliding with a fire hydrant resulted in $8,000 in damage on the 800 block of Willow Avenue.

• Police assisted EMS with a vehicle/pedestrian collision on Oxford Street West at First Avenue Northwest. The driver was charged with failing to yield.

• A vehicle collision resulted in a driver being taken to Union Hospital and $4,000 in damage on Fourth Avenue Northwest at Manitoba Street West.

• A two vehicle collision was a result of icy road conditions on the 200 block of Manitoba Street East.

• Police and the fire dept. attended an emergency call involving a smoking vehicle, due to car battery on the 1100 block of Coteau Street West.

• A vehicle collision with a parked car resulted in a charge for driving without due care on the 1300 block of Grace Street.

• Police are investigating for issuing further charges in relation to charges of a stolen vehicle, property and officer obstruction on Fifth Avenue Northwest at Athabasca Street West.

• Police assisted in locating a youth who returned home on their own on the 1400 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.

• Police performed a curfew check on the 800 block of Sixth Avenue Northwest.

• Police performed a curfew check on the zero block of Wood Lily Drive.

• A curfew check was performed on the 300 block of Fairford Street West.

• Police issued several tickets in relation to a vehicle collision on Blue Sage Drive at Flax Road.

• A person was charged with impaired driving on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue Southwest.

• A vehicle collision with a parked car, due to icy roads resulted in no charges on the  200 block of Home Street West.

• A report of a stolen cell phone is being investigated on the zero block of Manitoba Street West.

• Two subpoenas were served.
