The nomination process is going slowly for Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce's upcoming citizen and group of the year awards.

Chamber of commerce CEO Brian Martynook said only one nomination has been received for each category.

“Don’t be shy about putting in nominations,” he advised the public. “Usually people in the new year probably start looking at it now, but we would hope that they start looking around for individuals that are doing stuff for the community. They don’t have to be in the limelight. (It can be) somebody in the background.”
