Fire crews responded to the 1200 block of Main Street North for a false alarm at 2:40 p.m.
Engines responded to the zero block of Lancaster Road for a malfunctioning fire alarm system at 7:38 p.m.
Police calls
Police responded to 47 calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. The calls included:
• There were four complaints of theft or shoplifting.
• There were two complaints of Dispute/Disturbance.
• There was one complaint of Assault.
• There was one complaint of damage.
• There was one complaint of fraud.
• There were four complaints of a suspicious occurrence or person.
• There was one driving complaint.
• There were two alarms.
• There were two complaints of an unwanted guest.
• There were two complaints of Intoxicated persons. One person was held until sober.
• There was one complaint of a breach of a court order.
• There was one person was arrested on four outstanding warrants.
• Police have one person in custody for a breach of a conditional sentence order.
• There were four complaints of hit and run.
