The search is underway for contestants to be the next Mr. Moose Jaw.
The second annual pageant will take place on March 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre. It is part of the annual fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society as organized by the local Relay for Life committee.
“The audience will vote for the winner of the Mr. Moose Jaw pageant,” said Relay for Life organizing committee chairperson Doris Dunphy. “We’re looking for contestants.”
She said all contestants must be over 19 years of age and live in Moose Jaw or area. She said the pageant will consist of an eveningwear portion, a swimwear portion, a talent portion, a public speaking portion and an interviewer pop question. She said each contestant would have to raise at least $250 in pledges from family, friends or businesses.
