On Jan. 20, 2013. Moose Jaw Police Service executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of Hochelaga Street West. Shortly after police conducted a vehicle stop in the downtown area, two adult males from Moose Jaw were arrested for possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Approximately eight grams of crack cocaine was seized as well as $1,600 in Canadian currency.
Later on that day, police executed another search warrant in the 800 block Seventh Avenue Northeast, where approximately 100 grams of crack cocaine was seized as well as $1000 in Canadian currency. Two adult males from Toronto, ON and an adult male from Cold Lake, AB were arrested for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. The street value of the cocaine seized is approximately $20,000.
The following five adult males have been charged and are awaiting court dates.
19 year old Shaquille Woodcock of Toronto, Ontario.
31 year old Timothy Levasseur of Moose Jaw, SK.
29 year old Kyle Erskine of Moose Jaw, SK.
19 year old Mahamed Mohamed of Toronto, Ontario.
26 year old Abdullahi Khalif of Cold Lake, Alberta.
The investigations are ongoing.
