Some community donors are concerned with council’s decision to move $1.5 million of $1.783 million from the multiplex contingency fund.

“That money was marked for the multiplex project. So Multiplex Builders feel that this money should be spent on enhancements to the project and/or Mosaic Place and YaraCentre,” said Multiplex Builders Inc. fundraising committee campaign co-chair Dr. Bill Deyo. “Money in the capital budget can go for roads, sidewalks or potholes or whatever city council sees fit.”
