Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 24 calls for service during the 24 hour period of 7 a.m. Sunday  to 7 a.m. Monday.

 

• A vehicle colliding with a pole on High Street West at Fifth Avenue resulted in a charge with driving too fast for road conditions.

• Police are investigating a person driving off without paying for fuel on the 200 block of First Avenue Northwest.

• Police are investigating a report of a stolen debit card and birth certificate on the 300 block of Iroquois Street West.

• A report of seven snowmobiles on a river is being investigated on the 200 block of Home Street East.

• Damage to a parking meter is being investigated on the 500 block of Main Street North.

• Police are investigating a report of a vehicle being broken into on the 1300 block of Connaught Avenue.

• A person was arrested for breaking a window on the 900 block of Ominica Street West.

• Police are investigating a report of an assault on the zero block of Main Street North.

• A 24 hour licence suspension was issued on the 200 block of Manitoba Street West.

• A hit and run is being investigated on the 500 block of Thatcher Drive East.

• A person was warned under the city noise bylaw on the 500 block of Hochelaga Street East.

 

• One person was arrested on outstanding warrants and held for court.

• One person was arrested on outstanding warrants and released for court on another date.

• One person was charged with breach of recognizance.

• Police attended to three 911 calls, and one alarm call.
