The annual Moose Jaw Firefighters Variety Show was held at the Mae Wilson Theatre Wednesday night.

“It’s a family magic show, filled with comedy and illusions,” said organizer Ryan Hopkinson. “It’s pretty much a fun time for just about everyone.”

The event was again headlined by comedic magicians Trevor and Lorena Watters, who said that Moose Jaw is one of their favourite stops on a tour that spans cruise ships and much of the continent.

“We love Moose Jaw. Personally, it’s my favourite place to come,” said Lorena. “The venue is beautiful — this theatre is amazing — and we always have great crowds when we come here.”

“This is our seventh year on tour,” adds Trevor. “Lorena is absolutely right: Moose Jaw is the highlight.”
