• On Monday, engines responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Coteau Street West and 24th Avenue Southwest.

Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 31 calls during the 24 hour period of 7 a.m. Monday  to 7 a.m. Tuesday.

 

• A report of a stolen bottle of wine is being investigated on the 100 block of Fairford Street East.

• Police assisted in locating a youth on the 100 block of Ross Street East.

• A report of fraud involving a person trying to take money from  a bank account is being investigated on the 200 block of Main Street North.

• A hit and run is being investigated on the 800 block of Thatcher Drive East.

• A driver was charged with reckless driving on Thatcher Drive East at Ninth Avenue Northeast.

• A report of $530 being stolen is under investigation on the 100 block of High Street West.

• A vehicle was seized on the 1200 block of Manitoba Expressway.

• A report of mischief involving youth throwing snowballs was responded to on the 600 block of Laurier Street.

• Police assisted in locating a person on the 100 block of Fairford Street East.

• A hit and run is being investigated at High Street East and Main Street North.

• MJPS assisted another agency with a two vehicle collision with injuries at 24th Avenue West at Coteau Street West. RCMP took over investigation, as it was their jurisdiction.

• Police assisted in locating a person on the 1100 block of Connaught Avenue.

• One person was arrested on outstanding warrants and released for court on another date.

• One person was charged with breach of recognizance.

 

• Police attended to two 911 calls.
