Hillcrest Golf Club won’t be able to erect four temporary signs in the right of way along Main Street, the city executive committee voted on Monday night.
During a meeting that immediately followed a council meeting, executive voted to deny the organization’s request for temporary portable signage.
Earl Swalm, president of the club, made a presentation to executive detailing the organization’s proposal to add the signs to raise operating funds for the city-owned golf course by selling advertising to local businesses.
