The Government of Canada has invested $48,000 in the Angus Campbell Centre, earmarked for programs that will help develop the job skills of Moose Jaw youth.
“The Angus Campbell Centre is going to receive $48,000 in money through a program known as Skills Link which is designated to help young people get past some barriers to their employment,” said Palliser MP Ray Boughen.
The funding will support Skills Link programming for youth enrolled in the Centre’s programming, Boughen said.
“There are workshops (in the program) that deal with communication, team building and customer service.
“The young folks will have a chance to gain knowledge and experience through work placements,” Boughen said.
