The Informed Choices Pregnancy Centre (ICPC) has opened it’s doors to offer counselling to Moose Jaw men and women dealing with an unplanned pregnancy.
“Our mission statement is to provide quality peer counselling for women and men dealing with unplanned pregnancies, adoption and abortion issues in a loving, non-judgemental and faith-based environment,” explained Sharon Oberding, director of the ICPC.
The goal, Oberding said, is to educate people freely and confidentially about the options before them and the outcomes of those options.
“What we’re doing is providing education to women and men ... explaining to them the procedures and possible side-effects of abortion, as well as presenting adoption and parenting options,” she said.
