Each year in Moose Jaw, little girls are made to feel like princesses for a day.

Dressing up in their most beautiful gowns, perfectly placing each curl on their head and adding just the right amount of plastic sparkle, The Little Princess Ball truly is a royal event.

With selling out its 360 invitations in less than 29 minutes, it is also one of the city’s most successful events.

Raising money for the Women’s Health Unit and helping with the purchase of the best equipment for new born care, the ball is the perfect combination of fun and philanthropy.

Amy Ofstie, one of the events organizers, said this year the money raised will be going towards the purchase of a Panda Bed, which will better help treat new babies at the hospital.

She said those attending this years ball will have a chance to mingle with their favourite princess characters, participate in a royal feast and dance the afternoon away. Ofstie said there will also be crafts, singing, stories and more, however this years theme will be a surprise to all.

“The theme is top secret. No one will know until they enter the hall, but there will be plenty of photo ops, that is all I can say.”
