The following items are on the agenda for Monday’s budget committee meeting at city hall:
• Budget committee will discuss an update on the capital budget and the capital budget approval process from the financial services department.
• The committee will discuss five referred matters. One is concerning the development of two new multi-purpose fields in Hamilton Flats to replace the soccer fields at Ninth Avenue Northwest and MacDonald Street because the student residence at Palliser SIAST hasn’t received funding.
The committee will consider a report from the parks and recreation department concerning natatorium redevelopment.
Budget will discuss the $1.5 million returned to the capital budget that was initially allocated to the Mosaic Place and Yara Centre project.
The committee will discuss the 2013-2017 capital budget and the 10-year unfunded capital budget.
• Immediately following the budget committee meeting there will be an executive committee meeting. Executive will consider a report from the engineering department regarding establishing regulations for the operating of outdoor food carts.
• Executive will discuss a report from the engineering department and a report from the city manager, likely in-camera.
