The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 58 calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

During the 24-hour period police charged three people with impaired driving. Police also responded to a complaint of assault and mischief, which is still under investigation. Other calls included; two frauds, one a transportation fraud and the other a bank fraud, one public intoxication, five minor motor vehicle collisions, none resulting in injury, a theft from Safeway, two break and enters, two seized vehicles and one fire.

At approximately 9:40 p.m. Friday, police and the Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to a fire on the 200 block of High Street West. The fire was contained to one suite in the Probe Apartment block. The tenant was not home at the time of the fire. Damage is unknown at this time. The fire is still under investigation.

Between the hours of 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday the police received 36 calls.

The calls included; two false alarms, three complaints of mirrors being broken off cars, two motor vehicle accidents. One accident resulting in approximately $5,000 damage and the other around $15,000 damage. No injuries were reported.

Police were also called to two hit and runs, causing minimal damage, three assaults, one impaired driving and one unwanted guest.
