One week after Iceland's Eyjafallajokull volcano erupted, two local Moose Javians are still trying to make their way home.

Although Lauren Heregada and Kyle Ellergodt are located in two different countries, their frustrations are the same.

Heregada was supposed to fly out of England early last Thursday, with Ellergodt's original flight home scheduled for last Sunday.

Both Heregada and Ellergodt's family members agreed that although what is happening over seas is frustrating for all those involved, their children have found themselves in far better situations then some.

“Although it has been a bit nerve racking, we have been very, very fortunate,” said Ellergodt's mother, Julia.

She said because Ellergodt has been touring the world with an organization called “Youth with a Mission” he was lucky enough to not have to wait out his delays in the airport or in hotels.
