KINKORA, P.E.I. - Search teams in P.E.I. have been called in to find a man who appeared to wander off after his car veered off a road near Kinkora and flipped on its roof.

The crash happened Wednesday on Route 225.

Police say that when they arrived at the scene, they found footprints in the snow around the car, but they couldn't follow them for very far because high winds had filled them in.

RCMP say the have checked with family and friends but have not be able to find the 32-year-old owner of the car, Justin Brad Hunter of Kinkora.

The Mounties say they are concerned for his well being because of the strong winds and sub-zero temperatures in the area.
