Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 52 calls between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, including a hit-and-run report from the 500 block of Thatcher Drive East at approximately 11 a.m. on Thursday. Police expect a red vehicle caused the $500 damage to another vehicle.

City police also responded to a report of three vehicle windows being smashed out on the 300 block of Ominica Street West, causing $800 damage at 12:24 p.m. on Thursday.

As well on Thursday, two people were arrested on the 1200 block of Main Street North for shoplifting. Charges are pending an investigation.

Police are also investigating a 5:39 p.m. Thursday theft of three bottles of liquor from the zero block of Manitoba Street East.

At about 9 p.m. on Thursday, police charged a male with causing a disturbance and resisting arrest on the 400 block of Home Street West.

On Friday, at 1:14 a.m., police charged a male with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit.

At 1:28 a.m. on Friday, police responded to an assault between two people on the 700 block of Ominica Street East. Charges are pending an investigation.
