As originally reported on mjtimes.sk.ca on Sunday afternoon, Moose Jaw Police responded to a call of a domestic dispute on Sunday morning at 7:21 a.m. on the 800 block of Connaught Avenue.

The incident escalated into a lone adult male armed with knives barricading himself in a house. Police secured the area and then began negotiations with the man which continued for several hours.

The situation was resolved peacefully at 1:00 p.m. when the male surrendered himself.

A 31-year-old male will be appearing in provincial court Monday morning in relation to break and enter and weapons charges.
