The Moose Jaw man who allegedly barricaded himself in a home located on the 800 block of Cannaught Avenue Sunday, appeared in provincial court Monday. Shaun Robinson, a 31-year-old male, was charged with a number offences including, assault, drug possession and wilful damage to a house. Robinson was ordered to remain in police custody until Friday, at which time he will appear for his bail hearing. Robinson was arrested Sunday afternoon after police responded to a call around 7:20 a.m.. As the situation escalated, a man barricaded himself in the home and was armed with knives After almost six hours of negotiations with the Moose Jaw Police Service, the man surrendered himself and the situation was resolved peacefully at 1:00 p.m..
