Moose Jaw Police Service attended the scene of an alleged assault at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of Manitoba Street East.

Two people were charged with assault with a weapon and one was charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. They will appear in court in February.

At 4:22 p.m. Wednesday police were called to a two vehicle accident on the 300 block of Fairford Street West.

$15,000 damage was caused and one person was charged with driving while prohibited. Nobody was injured.

Police were called to the zero block of Oxford Street West at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday and a dangerous dog was taken to the Moose Jaw Humane Society. The matter is still under investigation.

At 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, police attended the 1400 block of Grace Street. One vehicle had crashed into a park car causing $20,000 damage. 

The driver was charged with driving without due care and attention. Nobody was injured.

In total, Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 47 calls between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
