Although city hall issued eight more building permits in Nov. 2009 compared to Nov. 2008, the total value of those permits issued last month was worth considerably less compared to the same time period last year.
Last month, the city issued 21 permits worth a total of approximately $2.23 million. During the same 30-day period in 2008, the city issued 13 permits worth approximately $4 million.
During November this year, there were four permits issued for new residential constructions, worth a total of about $1.11 million.
Bill Tremblay Construction is erecting a house at 298 Woodlily Dr., worth $320,000. IDGS Developments is erecting a house at 18 Berkshire Court, worth $246,000.
HD Drake Builders is erecting a house at 1206 Stadacona Street, worth $252,000. Rob Heilser and Erin Williamson are erecting a house at 58 Everton Crescent, worth $291,000.
