A man was taken to hospital on Wednesday after a possible assault in Moose Jaw.

Moose Jaw Police Service were called to the 800 block of Sixth Avenue Northwest at 1:32 a.m. Wednesday to what appeared to be a domestic assault.

Details of his injuries or how he was injured have not been released.

The incident is still under investigation by police.

Moose Jaw Police Service received a total of 52 calls between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, including two vehicle collisions.

The first happened at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday at Second Avenue and Oxford Street East involving two vehicles. There were no injuries and $10,000 damage was caused.

One person was charged with failing to stop and failing to provide the proper licence.

The second collision happened at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday at First Avenue and Saskatchewan Street East. 

Due to medical conditions, a driver lost control and hit the wall of a nearby home causing $25,000. EMS attended the scene.

At 10:42 a.m. Tuesday, police attend Brookshire Court to a report of a break and enter to a house under construction. The patio doors were pried open causing $200 damage.

At 1:24 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report of a hit and run to a vehicle on the 1000 block of Grafton Avenue. $6,000 damage was caused and the incident is still under investigation.
