Police are looking for a man who robbed a city corner store with a weapon.

The incident happened at 5:42 p.m. Saturday on the 800 block of Athabasca Street East.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the store and the man fled from the scene.

Sgt Randy Jesse, of Moose Jaw Police, said he encouraged the public to call police with any information about the incident.

One man is in hospital after three men broke into his home and beat him up at 2:43 a.m. Sunday.

The incident happened on the 1300 block of 12 Avenue South West.

Jesse said police are actively seeking the three people involved.

In total, Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 35 calls between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
