Moose Jaw Police Services charged an adult female with shoplifting at the Real Canadian Superstore at 8:55 p.m. on Friday.

City police responded to 28 calls between 7 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. on Saturday, including a call to the 1100 block of Chestnut Avenue, which resulted in authorities charging an adult male with assault.

At 3:04 a.m. on Saturday on the 200 block of High Street West, police charged an adult male with driving while impaired and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding the legal limit.

Between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, local police responded to 42 calls, including a report of wilful damage on the zero block of Lillooet Street East. Someone apparently smashed out a vehicle’s window, causing about $1,000 damage. That matter is still under investigation.

Nobody was injured and nobody was charged following a two-vehicle collision on the corner of 11 Avenue Northwest and Grace Street at 9:31 a.m. on Saturday.

Police are investigating a hit and run that occurred in the Bonanza parking lot at about 1:27 p.m. on Saturday, which caused about $1,000 damage.

Police arrested an adult male, charging him with assault on the zero block of Athabasca Street East at about 6:17 p.m. on Saturday.

Police are investigating a report of a stolen credit card from the zero block of Home Street West. Police received the call at 6:38 p.m.

At about 7 p.m. on Saturday, black Toyota truck apparently drove away from a fuel station on the 1600 block of Main Street North without paying. Police continue to investigate.

A 10:23 p.m. Saturday report of assault rom the 800 block on Main Street North still has city police investigating.

At about 1 a.m. on Sunday, local police charged an adult female with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level that exceeded the legal limit. Police charged her on the 1100 block of Warner Street.

At about 3 a.m. on Sunday, local police charged an adult male with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level that exceeded the legal limit. Police charged him on the corner of Coteau Street and Forth Avenue Southwest.

Police are investigating a report of jewellery stolen following a break-in at the 1300 block of 12 Avenue Southwest, which occurred at about 4 a.m. on Sunday.
