The 27-year-old Moose Javian charged in connection with an incident at the Park Hotel in January will have to wait one more week to receive his sentence.
On Feb. 9, Joseph MacDougall pleaded guilty to having his face masked while committing an offence. With the Crown’s consent, a charge of armed robbery was reduced to a charge of theft under $5,000, to which MacDougall pleaded guilty.
Judge Douglas Kovatch, on Tuesday in Moose Jaw provincial court, decided he needed more time to review the case before issuing a sentence, so he adjourned the matter one more week.
MacDougall will have to remain in remand until sentencing at 9:30 a.m. on March 10. However, Kovatch said he is “thinking very strongly of releasing you on probation at that time.”
